We collect data about how you use the platform, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the dashboard.

Response data

When your visitors respond to an interceptor, we collect and store the answer they submitted along with a timestamp. We do not collect personally identifiable information about your visitors unless they voluntarily provide it (e.g., in a free-text answer).

• To provide and operate the Askertain platform.
• To process payments and send billing-related communications.
• To send service-related notifications (e.g., usage alerts, product updates).
• To improve the platform through aggregate usage analysis.

4. Cookies & Tracking

Askertain does not use cookies to track your website visitors. Our embed script uses browser localStorage solely to enforce frequency controls (e.g., "show once per visitor"). No data from localStorage is transmitted to our servers.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data or your visitors' data. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing.
• Clerk — for authentication and account management.
• Service providers who assist in operating our infrastructure, under data processing agreements.

6. Data Retention

Response data is retained for the duration of your subscription. Upon account cancellation, you may request export of your data within 30 days. After that period, data is deleted from our systems.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict processing of your data.
